Conditions We Treat

I work with adults and teens (16+) navigating a wide range of mental health concerns, always through telehealth, always starting with a full picture of who you are before we talk about medication. Below are the areas I focus on most. If you don't see exactly what you're dealing with listed, reach out. Many of these overlap, and a diagnosis label matters less to me than understanding what you're actually going through.

Anxiety

Anxiety can feel like a constant weight, a racing mind that never settles, or a physical tension that makes it hard to breathe. Whether you're dealing with generalized worry, social anxiety, or panic attacks, it often feels like you're perpetually waiting for the other shoe to drop. We work together to identify the roots of your anxiety and develop a toolkit of coping strategies and, if appropriate, medication management to help you regain a sense of calm and control.

Anxiety: Common signs include constant worry, restlessness, racing thoughts, trouble sleeping, a racing heart or feeling on edge, and panic attacks.

Trauma & PTSD

I have a particular focus on trauma and completed a specialty rotation in trauma therapy, including supporting women working through trauma histories. Trauma responses can look like hypervigilance, flashbacks, numbness, or relationships that feel harder than they should. My approach draws on trauma-focused CBT and a genuinely trauma-informed pace: we move as fast or as slow as you need to.

Trauma & PTSD: This can show up as intrusive memories or flashbacks, avoiding reminders of what happened, feeling constantly on guard, emotional numbness, and difficulty trusting or feeling safe.

OCD

Intrusive thoughts and compulsive patterns are exhausting to carry, especially when they've gone unnamed or misunderstood for years. I treat OCD with a combination of medication management and evidence-based approaches like exposure and response prevention (ERP), tailored to what's actually maintaining the cycle for you.

OCD: Symptoms typically include intrusive, unwanted thoughts paired with compulsive behaviors or mental rituals aimed at relieving the anxiety those thoughts cause.

ADHD

ADHD in adults often looks different than the childhood stereotype: missed deadlines, mental overload, relationships strained by forgetfulness, or years of being told you just need to try harder. We'll talk through an accurate history, consider medication if it's a good fit, and build practical strategies for the parts medication alone doesn't solve.

ADHD: Look for difficulty focusing or finishing tasks, disorganization, forgetfulness, restlessness, and feeling mentally scattered or overwhelmed by everyday demands.

Burnout & First Responders

Some of the people I most want to reach are the ones used to holding everything together for everyone else, including first responders carrying the weight of what they see on the job. Burnout is real, it's treatable, and needing support doesn't say anything about your competence or your strength.

Burnout & First Responders: Common symptoms include emotional exhaustion, cynicism or detachment, irritability, trouble sleeping, and feeling depleted no matter how much rest you get.

Perfectionism & People-Pleasing

When your worth has always felt tied to performance, or you've built your life around not disappointing anyone, exhaustion tends to follow. This is one of the patterns I see most often, and one of the most rewarding to work through, because the shift usually shows up everywhere, not just in the specific problem that brought you in.

Perfectionism & People-Pleasing: This often looks like chronic self-criticism, difficulty resting or ever feeling "enough," fear of disappointing others, and exhaustion from constantly overextending yourself.

Depression & Mood Disorders

From persistent low mood to bipolar spectrum conditions, I provide medication management and support grounded in a full understanding of your history, patterns, and what stability looks like for you specifically.

Depression & Mood Disorders: Signs include persistent low mood or loss of interest, fatigue, changes in sleep or appetite, difficulty concentrating, and for bipolar spectrum conditions, shifts between depressive and elevated or irritable episodes.

There are many other diagnoses I treat, but have not listed here. Reach out and ask if you have questions.
